ChompCalc

Made with ☕ in Istanbul

ChompCalc is a free, no-signup calculator hub for people who need fast, accurate answers to everyday math — without ads that block your view or paywalls that gate the results. Our goal is simple: take the calculations that shape real decisions and make them quick, clear, and genuinely useful.

Our mission

Most calculator sites are cluttered with pop-ups, slow to load, and quick to demand an email address before showing a result. We built ChompCalc to be the opposite: fast by default, free forever, and respectful of your time and attention. Every calculator returns a result instantly — no account, no waiting, no dark patterns.

But we believe a calculator should do more than spit out a number. The most common question after any result is “what does this actually mean?” — so each tool is paired with a plain-language explanation of the math behind it, worked examples with real figures, and a tips section covering the mistakes people most often make. The aim is that you leave understanding the number, not just holding it.

How our calculators are built

We cover four categories — Finance, Health, Math, and Lifestyle — with tools built on established formulas, not approximations. The loan and mortgage calculator uses the standard amortization formula and produces a true month-by-month schedule. The BMI calculator follows the World Health Organization classification. The calorie calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, widely regarded as the most accurate of the common formulas. The compound interest calculator handles recurring monthly contributions correctly, rather than treating them as a single lump sum.

Each tool is documented with the formula it uses and the reasoning behind it, so you can check our work rather than take it on faith. Where a calculation depends on assumptions — a standard 2,080-hour work year, an average 90-minute sleep cycle, a typical activity multiplier — we state those assumptions plainly so you can adjust for your own situation.

Our commitment to accuracy

We take correctness seriously. Formulas are checked against authoritative sources, and the written content on each page is reviewed and dated so you know how current it is. When we describe rates, thresholds, or averages, we draw on recognized references such as published CPI data, standard financial formulas, and established health guidelines.

That said, every calculator on ChompCalc is intended for informational and educational purposes only, and results should not be taken as financial, medical, or legal advice. A calculator cannot know your full circumstances. For decisions that matter — a mortgage, a health concern, a tax question — please verify with a qualified professional who can account for the details specific to you.
